Hi, my name is Dorcas. I bring over two decades of diverse nursing experience, including acute care, pediatrics, education, and managed care nursing across multiple states.

I hold dual degrees—a Master of Science in Nursing Education and a Master’s in Healthcare Management—and have taught courses such as Adult Health, Community Health, and Mental Health at a reputable College of Nursing.

I have also served as a case manager and senior analyst at a commercial health insurance company and as a clinical educator in my current role as adjunct faculty. My clinical passions lie in medical-surgical and pediatrics in acute care settings. I am the proud mom of two adorable children, a girl and a boy, with my husband.

I make myself available to my clients as much as possible. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting individual transferable skills and learning needs, ensuring real-world clinical application.

My Journey to Coaching

I love to share my expertise in coaching people from all walks of life to transition smoothly into nursing careers and pass their NCLEX exams on their first attempt with flying colors.

I also guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), ADN Bridge, and BSN program participants, providing them with support throughout their nursing programs.

I will help you address any challenges you face in your current career while guiding you through a program designed to uncover your purpose and transferable skills.

What I Offer: A 6-Week Program

This will be a 1-hour weekly session meeting through Zoom 1:1, which consists of the following:

Share a specific problem and receive my professional advice on proceeding. Topics can include your current career, passion for nursing, or goal setting to give you milestones and clarity on your next steps to become a Registered Nurse.
Discover your transferable skills tailored to a nursing career.
Customize a plan that is specific to your program.
Guidance in selecting a reputable school that has your program of choice, including LVN, ADN, or BSN.
Accountability (We'll do reflective work. I will provide you the necessary action plans and tools, including supplementary courses, exercises, or lessons).
A safe space to talk (a mindset to remove any barriers on the way).

After 6 weeks, a month-to-monthly payment can be offered if you want continued support.
